Hi, I’m Dr. Gaudys and based in the USA. I created LAXURYS™ as a place to share knowledge, offer perspective, and help visitors make informed choices that support a balanced and meaningful life.
Over the years I have built skills in synthesizing information, data analysis, and communication so that complex ideas can be shared in clear, useful ways. My research has been published in both academic and professional platforms.
Journey and Vision
My path has woven years of research, creativity, and perseverance shaped by experiences in both national and international settings. If there is a subject that interests me, I will explore it deeply. I am also an artist and poet, and my creative work is part of what inspires the vision of LAXURYS™. Like many of us, I have had to pivot, rebuild, and find new directions. Those turns have shaped both my work and this site.
Background
Dr. Gaudys holds a Ph.D. in International Studies, specializing in security and strategic studies at the intersection of AI, cybersecurity, health, and science and technology studies. She also holds dual law degrees (J.D. and LL.M.) concentrated in litigation and intellectual property respectively, along with specialized training in cybersecurity and emergency management, and brings a professional background in journalism, media arts, creative arts, and communications.
Meaning of LAXURYS™
The name LAXURYS™ blends heritage with vision. It symbolizes the meeting point between clarity and growth. It carries echoes of the Latin lux for light and clarity, and luxuria for abundance and richness. It’s also part of my middle name. The “S” was added as a symbol for security. In essence, LAXURYS™ represents a luminous space of abundance, where knowledge, health, and security converge. It is a locus, a meeting ground, to empower, inform, and inspire.
Logo Symbolism
I designed the LAXURYS™ logo which reflects the core of this site. It includes a balanced geometric frame that holds an abstract tree. A shield with a central lock signals protection and trust. At the base, network roots ground the mark in technology and real world systems. The leaves speak to growth and renewal. The twelve nodal points represent each month of the year, symbolizing safety and security year-round. Together these shapes form a clear emblem of safety, learning, and steady expansion.

The Insights section is organized around six boxes created as pathways.

Together they synthesize what I see as essential to a flourishing life in today’s digital age— bridging resilience, creativity, and protection in one integrated frame.

My goal is for this to be a steady and enriching space, offering perspectives, resources, and creative work.
